Role synopsis

The Process Safety TA is an individual contributor in engineering within S+OR. This experienced engineer acts as ‘the conscience of the company’ with the skills, experience and credibility to provide:

  • S&OR connectivity/involvement in line activity and processes and intervenes and escalates as appropriate to cause corrective action.
  • Deep technical expertise for long term value focusing on what is important for the business, predominantly process safety and integrity risks that have potential for company-level impact,

Key accountabilities

  • Sets clear S&OR-mandated requirements for engineering
  • Recommends to the EA which ETPs are to be applied for engineering and advises the EA on proposed deviations to these.
  • Links with relevant SETA for two-way communication on relevant engineering practices and risk- related issues. Maintains an independent view of S&O risk
  • Provides independent assurance of competency assessment and deployment/recruitment processes that underpin engineering capability.
  • Supports and advises the EA in assurance of risk management processes to engineered systems, relevant OMS Conformance Plans and the engineering requirements of OMS. Advises the EA on discipline risks

Assures regulatory compliance, appropriate characterization of risk, and proper integrity assessment when returning damaged or out-of-service equipment to service

Sr Reservoir Engineer

Role synopsis

This role is an individual contributor Senior Reservoir Engineer position within the reservoir management team of Shah Deniz (SD). The role will be accountable for leading all reservoir engineering activities for the full field development with strong communication and coaching skills. The person will provide subsurface assurance for the Shah Deniz reservoirs and integrate cross functional activities and the resource progression opportunities that maximize economic value.

The Senior Reservoir Engineer should be an experienced practitioner of classical reservoir engineering methods applied to giant fields, as well as be able to use simulation models to provide more detailed studies. The person will develop and oversee strategies and protocols for good reservoir management, these include Integrated Subsurface Description (ISD), Reservoir Performance Prediction (RPP), Depletion Planning (DP) and will also ensure these are supported by an appropriate surveillance strategy and subsurface uncertainties & risk management (SURM) plan.

The role is Baku based and will report to SD RM Team Leader.

ESSENTIAL

 Support the Line Manager (LM) in management of Oceaneering workscope as defined in the contract with the client providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management
 Assist with the implementation of an Integrity Risk Management Process, aligned to the client Risk Management Process
 Ensure all work is compliant with relevant client engineering and safety standards including review of any feedback from client
 Provide technical leadership to designated inspection discipline engineers within the team, allocating work to them within their technical capabilities and checking their output
 Manage interfaces with other support disciplines e.g. Structures, Pipelines,  Pressure Systems, External Corrosion, etc.

Mechanic is responsible for all equipment to be maintained with company requirements as well as QHSE guidelines; conducts maintenance checks and verifies certification of equipment prior to dispatch.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform service, repairs, maintenance, retrofits, testing and modifications to all hydraulic equipment as required
• Perform visual, operational inspection and check completeness of all equipment and tools prior to load out or dispatch

Position title:  NDT Inspector Level II

Location: Garadagh district, Salyan highway 17

Inspection of all Handling and Rotary Equipment and Premium Connections, as per required procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To inspect Workshop and Offshore equipment, maintain as in company procedures.
• Responsible for producing Inspection Reports and passing to Workshop Supervisor.
• Ensure all Inspection Reports for equipment maintenance are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure all equipment and containers are certified, worn parts replaced, slings, etc., when necessary and to ensure that all workshop safety policies are applied.
• Responsible for health and safety of all personnel in the Workshop and for the protection of the environment.
• Report any unsafe or unsatisfactory plant and systems of work to those not being operated to Frank’s standards to Workshop Supervisor (or QA & Safety Department), as appropriate.
• Implement quality, health and safety policies during all operational activities. Suggest changes/improvements which may be made to those procedures where appropriate.
• Responsible for reporting all failed equipment incidents to Workshop Supervisor and advise corrective actions, where required.
• Assist with training of new Inspection personnel.
• Responsible for keeping up-to-date Calibration certificates for Inspection Equipment (e.g. AC Yoke, UV Light).
• Advise QA & Safety Department when certification completed for updating records.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and free of obstructions.
• Responsible for all relevant QA & Safety Documentation and maintaining ‘controlled’ docs (e.g. standards) where necessary.
• Arranging third-parties to perform maintenance of Inspection Equipment, if required.
• Act as focal point for internal/external (Inspection) Department enquiries.
• Working within a Workshop environment.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience

• Qualified to ASNT Level 2 or equivalent
